I've had a complete block on drawing for the last few months, which is why I never completed Nirelleth's request. So, in lieu of that, in the meantime I'm posting this piece.

This is my final piece for calligraphy class, dedicated to my fiancée Lottie. It reads makoto no ai, true love.

Oh.

I just noticed the link. If its okay for me to ask, have you always lived in Japan? One day, i'd like to travel there.. maybe spend more than a day..

I haven't always lived in Japan - I am studying at university here for a year (I've been out here to study a couple of times before), so I've been here now and again since 2002. I'm doing a degree in Japanese in the U.K.
