A mini-tome 
Burgundy red Nigerian goatskin and riveted brass fittings.
This was the first time I had a go at gilding the edges of the pages too, and I'm really happy with how it came out, though I think I used a rather dark shade of gold.

And how do you stop the colour on the edges of the pages from seeping in? Does just holding them tight stop it?
